We seek to empower the studentry with innovative activities and programs that capture their imagination.
- IKOT USC – The USC shall hold Consultative General Assemblies in different colleges and dormitories with their respective local councils. The USC shall also regularly visit the different organizations in UP during their General Assemblies to promote USC events and be familiarized with the different organizations.
- C2 (Convene and Consult) – The USC shall work closely with existing UP student alliances, such as the Sanlahi Alliance, League of College Councils and the Alliance of Concerned Dormitories, in addressing the concerns of the different sectors in UP.
- Interfaith Circle – The USC will organize this group composed of different religious groups to discuss their various concerns, taking into consideration their differences, and emphasizing their collective beliefs.
- Speak UP: The Series – The USC shall conduct series of fora regarding timely and relevant issues in the university, the country, and the rest of the world to properly equip the Iskolars para sa Bayan in their stand-making and deciding on a choice of action.
- Leadership and Service Training Congress – The USC, in recognition of its important function in harnessing the leadership and service potential of every Iskolar para sa Bayan, will hold a leadership convention open to all UP students.
- eVOLution – The USC will reinforce the Volunteer Corps through a comprehensive organizational overhaul in the form of drafting its own constitution, electing coordinators for each USC committee, and by giving the VolCorps a voting representative in the USC General Assembly.
- USCelect - The USC will launch campaigns which will encourage students to exercise their right of suffrage in order to raise political awareness. This is in recognition of the fact that the University Student Council Elections usually fall short of reaching at least a 50% voters’ turnout of the UP population.
- Buhayin ang Pahinungod – The USC will endeavor to develop and encourage volunteerism among students in the university by seeking to reestablish a Pahinungod Central Office that will coordinate the Pahinungod programs in some of the colleges and also the different volunteer organizations and activities in the University.
- UP Academic Idol – The USC will showcase the academic research achievements of exemplary students in different fields through a Paper Presentation Series (PPS). Major winners will also be published in a Student Journal at the end of the year. An exhibit will be put up for studies that require a more visual presentation.
- Pop UP – The USC will hold various activities, contests, and workshops that will be integrated with the disciplines of each college In recognition of the need for enhancing appreciation and understanding of contemporary arts and harnessing the talents of UP students.
- Maroon Mania (University Intramurals) – The USC will continue to support and aid in the improvement of this annual event that fosters camaraderie and sportsmanship among colleges.
- PEP (Program for Excellence and Pride) – The USC shall initiate information drives and pep rallies to elicit the support of the student body for individuals and organizations representing the University in various local and international competitions in all fields.
- QTV (Quick Response Team of Volunteers) – The USC will initiate a quick response team for our fellow Filipinos who are affected by the onslaught of natural disasters.
- SIGLO – The USC will aid in the organization of activities (Lantern Parade, UP Fair, etc.) that will be integrated with the UP Centennial to make it more memorable and exciting.
